No, it's not too soon to give your puppy your puppy a bath, just make sure that he/she doesn't get too cold afterwards. Yorkies are tiny and lose body heat pretty quickly.





Always use a gentle, puppy shampoo for your pup, but don't use the flea type shampoos until they're at least 12 weeks old.

No its not to soon to give a bath but why do you think the pup needs one.Use a puppy shampoo, and make sure you rinse the coat well.Towel dry the puppy and then try and get the pup

It is not too soon. You can use any number of specialty puppy shampoos on the market. Baby shampoo is ok for the puppy, but personally, I'd go with something a little more dog specific since they have much different hair/skin requirements. If you are afraid or unsure you can take the puppy to a groomer and have it bathed there. PetSmart has a special for puppies up to a certain age at their grooming center.
I use a very gentle shampoo on my partners Yorkie, she runs with my wheatens and picks up all the dirt and fleas and mites if they are around so all are bathed in Groomers anti flee shampoo, its the latest one from groomers and you can get it on-line.





Alternatively try a cheap human shampoo like Tesco's own family mild shampoo and do not forget to put a spot of conditioner on her, let her dry naturally and the following day groom her DO NOT blow dry her cuddle her in a towel til the moisture has come off her
use either puppy shampoo or very mild baby shampoo. make sure you dry her very well or she will get a chill at such a young age.
