Can normal baby shampoo kill fleas?

Yes, if it's left on long enough to suffocate the fleas.

ADD: I can't beleive the thumbs down, why does everyone think you have to use dangerous chemicals to kill fleas! Dawn Dishwashing soap will also kill fleas. Can normal baby shampoo kill fleas?
No. It does not kill fleas. You can use Pert shampoo to stun the fleas then pick them off. It will not kill fleas. To kill fleas you should use Frontline or some other product you buy from you vet. Many OTC fleas products cause toxic reactions in dogs. So if you use those, use with caution. Finally, fleas only feed on the animals, they live in your carpet/furniture. So it is important to treat your house too.

Good luck! Can normal baby shampoo kill fleas?
Do not human shampoo - baby shampoo is not tearless to pets %26amp; a different ph. Any puppy or dog shampoo will remove fleas. If you are using Frontline, you cannot bathe pet 2 days before or after a bath. No shampoo has any residual effect for killing fleas. You need to treat pet %26amp; home %26amp; yard to remove fleas.
