Maybe try to vacuum or use a bissel on it.My son poured a full bottle of baby shampoo on my carpet- how do i get it out?
Okay I don't know why everyone keeps saying to add all these chemicals to it to clean it up.

My daughter did the same thing and we rent so we really have to make sure the carpet stays nice.

You have to use super super hottt water so hot that you can't stand it and have to put rubber gloves on to be able to handle it. Get 2 buckets of water and keep rinsing out a rag in one bucket and scrubbing it and also keeping one bucket fresh pouring a little fresh water on it every time you scrub it. Also make sure you have lots of towels keep putting hte towels over the soapy water and stepping on them to get all the water out. You have to do this many times over but I promise it will come out, ours did.
If the baby shampoo wasn't very concentrated, more like a liquid than a cream. You could maybe try putting down some baby powder to soak up the liquid, then vacuuming it. If that doesn't work I would try carpet cleaner, however if you have small children I wouldn't recommend it, because many can cause inflammation and a burning feeling if it comes in contact with skin.

Cheer and good luck!
Oreck Greaselock Spill Absorbent System. It's a powder that comes in a 2 lb. container. You put it on the stain, let it absorb and dry (5-10min), then vacuum or sweep it up. It picks up everything--grease, solvents, oils, body fluids, and more. Works great on oil stains on driveways too (add water to the Greaselock and brush it on). It should pick up the shampoo from your carpet. Good luck!
Just keep on mopping it up changing the water every time it becomes full of suds, a long job I know. But you will get thee in the end, and have the cleanest patch of carpet on your block.
Use a carpet cleaner and concentrate it in that area - may not get all of it, but better than just leaving it in the carpet.
lots of water and a wet vac.
hahaha i find that funny
