Can u Bath a Dog with Baby Shampoo?

I really want to knowCan u Bath a Dog with Baby Shampoo?
You're better off using a shampoo made for dogs.

Dogs and humans have a different pH level to their skin and using people shampoo on dogs can lead to skin problems. Can u Bath a Dog with Baby Shampoo?
yeah we did ours with johnsons..

but dont wash your hair with dog shampoo my nephew did it and he got scabs on his head
yes you can. Use johnsons.
Yes. Ivory dish soap works better, though.
You can but i wouldn't recommend it. Even the most gentle baby shampoo removes the natural protective oils of a dogs coat. I also wouldn't recommend Johnson's because they test on animals :(

Best bet is to get dog shampoo...that is why its made :)

You can get them at all sorts of stores

Walmart

Petsco

Petsmart (my fav)

Target

etc.
no it is not a good idea to give your dog a bath with human baby shampoo because what happened is the ph is higher and so it will dry out the skin of your dog. if you want to give your dog a bath you need to use a dog shampoo earthbath puppy shampoo you can find it at a local petco store or go to the web www.earthbath.com many people make the mistake thinking its ok to bathe there pets with human shampoo but because thay don't know and then later on the dogs skin is really bother them. so please use what i metion or you can buy any type of puppy shampoo at a local petsmart or a local petco store for pets. hope this helps.
Yes you can, plan and simple.
yes you can bathe them in whatever you want
larger dogs can handle it more than small dogs can because small dogs have a tendency to have really sinsative skin.
Yes a bet you could it would be the only human shampoo I would use on them though.
Yes as long as it says tear free, but I haven't heard of a baby shampoo that isn't.
Yeah thats what we use on our dog .. its better then any anything else out there and it smells sooo nice!!
of course. if you are using anything other than dog shampoo, it should be baby shampoo or Dawn dish-washing liquid (we had to use dawn to control fleas when our girl pup was prego- it works great with a flea comb)

good luck :)
Yes,I think that you can bath a dog with baby shampoo especally if yo have a dog with very sensative

skin and fur.
yes
I bathe my dog with Johnson's Baby Shampoo. It's really gentle and it makes him soft. :)
you can if you want to but i think it would be better if you wash the dog with dog shampoo
yes u can, is safe on dogs but not in puppies...
yeah NOT alot!

good luck!
No. It might irritate his/her skin, or give them an allergic reaction.
it would be ok, but dog shampoo would be best option, cos its specially formulated for dogs needs, and dogs coats
Yes you can and it is a good shampoo for dogs. I use it all the time. Gentle and will not hurt their hair or eyes. I would say excellent choice.
Yes, but only do the head that way. It's actually not good for their skin, but it's a good idea because of the tearfreeness of it (woohoo! new word!). You can also buy tear free puppy shampoo.

I would again like to emphasis that human shampoo is not a good idea for dogs. They do not have hair like ours and you can give them skin problems.
NO.

ALL human shampoo is mildly acidic, because our skin pH is acidic. Dog's skin pH is neutral, and so is their shampoo. Bathing dogs in ANY human shampoo, even baby shampoo, can give them dry skin and awful rashes. Buy dog shampoo, that's what it's made for.
Nope, it removes the natural protective oils from the coat of the dog..
Yes you can. And mild dish soap like Palmolive will kill fleas like crazy, and I have used these in a pinch. However it's much better to use a shampoo that's formulated for a dog's special skin. Baby shampoo is formulated for human skin, not dogs. It's okay once in awhile, but for regular bathing it's not a good idea.
I bet you could since it is very gentle.
u probably can but dog shampoo would probably work better
Yes I do.
Yes but dog shampoo is better but baby shamoo works fine.
Yah! i do that with my dog when we run out of dog shampoo and he likes it and smells better! But use Johnsons!
