What is a good alternative to baby shampoo for washing your guinea pig, if there is any.

Get the most gentle shampoo you can, natural if possible. Here is a great website. At PetsMart, there is a small animal ';spray on'; shampoo. It's very gentle and it smells like baby powder! It's about $4-6 and it's really easy to use. Just spray, rub, and dry. It was satisfactory for a quick cleaning for my piggies. Sorry I couldn't type more, but good luck =DWhat is a good alternative to baby shampoo for washing your guinea pig, if there is any.
When my family had guinea pigs, we used dog shampoo to bathe them.

Be sure to blow dry your guinea pig after the bath. They can catch cold if you just let them air dry. But make sure you don't put the blow dryer on high heat because that could burn them. What is a good alternative to baby shampoo for washing your guinea pig, if there is any.
It's soooo much better not to wash your guinea pig at all. If they are bathed too much they could get a cold, or namonia, and die! I f you must clean up your guinea, use a warm wet rag and no soap. They'll stay healthier..
I go to petsmart and they sell guinea pig shampoo, tearless. So it wont hurt them

Also it is better for them than baby shampoo, it's about 2 dollars here.
mild kitten shampoo, puppy shampoo, and specially made small animal shampoo for rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats.
I'm pretty sure you can also use a soap and water mixture to use on your guinea pig, if you don't want to use baby shampoo.
