You will be horrified to learn that baby shampoos are some of the harshest. Some are even so severe, hair specialists tell clients to use baby shampoos when they need to bleach some of hair. Do a Google and you will find it so. It's better for you to do a Google for safe, non harmful shampoos then shop for them at GNC, Earh Fare, Cost Plus, Wegmans, Trader Joes, natural health stores, and some Walmart stores.

Another cause of loss is too frequent washing and if you develop flaking scalp as a result of harmful shampoos.

I reversed my hair loss by using safe shampoos and having a regime of massaging scalp with olive oil and then brushing vigorously daily so you feel it stimulating scalp. It's best to use a soft short boar bristled brush and if palm held you can brush more forcefully. Brushing 100 strokes will quickly stop loss and force new growth. See my B.A.'s for detailed treatment info.

If your hair is falling out, Baby shampoo won 't work for you. Baby shampoo is designed to be gentle on eyes but what is that going to do for your scalp problem.

If your hair is falling out from the roots, then you need something that will work on the root of the hair.

If your hair is breaking off then you need some deep conditioning.

Either way, baby shampoo is not for hair that is falling out. Try Grund Reviveth - that is a really good product for losing hair.
A big 49p bottle of Sainsbury shampoo is as good as any. You may have an iron deficiency, check your diet and consider buying Floradix (sold in Sainsbury pharmacy!), its not cheap but very effective and if you buy the 49p stuff you can afford Floradix.
i read somewhere that baby shampoo is really gentle, but if you use it all the time, it might dry out your hair and cause breakage. instead of using baby shampoo i'd use one that helps with strengthening.

if you like it though, keep using it! shampoo works differently for everyone!
It may not stem the loss of hair, but it will certainly be gentler and less damaging to your scalp and hair. I love using baby shampoo, it leaves hair so soft and clean.
yeah, softer than our shampoo. *i think*
